Seattle
Whether shopping for fresh salmon at the Pike Place Market, riding one of the ferries, strolling through the Olympic Sculpture Park or simply enjoying a book at the lovely Public Library, Seattle, Washington, has 365 days of things to do.
With over 78 different shows, festivals and events yearly, including the Seattle Cherry Blossom Festival (the oldest cultural festival at the Seattle Center), you'll find celebrations for just about every heritage and interest.
No need to travel all the way to Utah for film, there are several film festivals right here in the Northwest, including the Seattle International Film Festival and the Northwest Asian American Film Festival. Between the SEAFAIR Triathalon and Hydroplane Races and the Jazz and Bluegrass Festivals, there is something for everyone whether it's an old favorite or a new discovery.

Rainy day? Well, you could sit at home inside, or you could get out and enjoy the indoor life in Seattle!
For those who enjoy the complexities of the art world, you'll want to be sure and visit the over 200 art galleries. Don't miss the reknown Pacific Northwest Ballet and Seattle Opera either! Several theatres reside in Seattle including the Intiman Theatre, one of six in the United States currently recognized as a Leading National Theatre and presenter of world premieres which have won Pulitzer Prizes, Tony Awards, Grammy Awards and New Play Awards. Museums ranging from the Science Fiction Museum to the Museum of Glass and the Museum of Flight to the Experience Music Project are sure to capture your interest on even a sunny day.
For the sports fan, you want 'em, we got 'em! Enjoy the Seahawks, Mariners, SuperSonics, Sounders, Thunderbirds and Storm all right here whether you want tickets to the game or gather with friends for parties.
Of course, there's the fabulous shopping with stores unique to the city and restaurants (some of which have been featured in magazines such as Gourmet and chefs on shows such as The Martha Stewart Show).

Redmond
Known for being the Bicycle Capital of the Northwest, Redmond, Washington, has to its credit 30 parks or open-spaces and 11 different
trails ranging in length from 1/4 mile to a grand 25 miles on Ashford Trail. With all the green space, you may just forget that you're in a city with a population of around 48,739!
During the summer months, enjoy the free summer concerts offered as Arts in the Park.
With several theatre groups, including the Second Story Repertory, Redmond Art Treks, and the Eastside Symphony, you'll find yourself surrounded by artistic outlets. Should you want to express some written creativity of your own, the monthly meetings of the Redmond Association of Spokenword (RASP) are just the thing.
Looking for something a little less sophistocated than symphonies and art, be sure and attend the Redmond Berby Days Festival.
Bellevue
A city committed to its citizens quality of life, Bellevue, Washington, incorporates 31 square miles between the beautiful Lake Sammamish and Lake Washington.
With a blend of quiet wooded neighborhoods, high-rise office buildings, parks and retail buildings, Bellevue offers the advantages of urban and rural life.
Nature trails, golf courses, tennis courts and more will keep you enjoying an active life, while the Bellevue Youth Theatre, Arts Program and Sculpture Exhibition will let you take a break from the hectic pace of work. Don't forget the Bellevue Art Fair each July!
Bellevue has its own community college and, of course, the 180-store Bellevue Square Mall. Living amongst the sophistication of museums and art and the calm of over 2,000 acres in public parks, Bellevue, Washington, offers a quality of life not found in many places.
